• Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged at the full session price.
• Walkies with Zara reserves the right to cancel services due to extreme weather, illness or emergencies. Where possible, alternative arrangements will be offered.
• A free meet and greet is required before all new bookings to ensure suitability and discuss your pet’s individual needs.
• Owners must disclose any medical conditions, behavioural concerns, allergies, medications or special requirements before services begin.
• Owners must inform Walkies with Zara of any history of aggression, reactivity, escaping, resource guarding or chewing.
• Walkies with Zara reserves the right to refuse or stop services if a pet poses a risk to itself, other animals or people.
• Dogs must be up to date with vaccinations or have appropriate veterinary guidance regarding vaccination status.
• Owners are responsible for ensuring pets receive appropriate flea, tick and worm prevention treatment.
• In the event of illness or injury, Walkies with Zara will make every reasonable effort to contact the owner or emergency contact.
• If this is not possible, Walkies with Zara is authorised to seek veterinary treatment where necessary.
• Any veterinary costs incurred remain the responsibility of the owner unless negligence can be demonstrated.
Walks
• Dogs will be walked on lead unless written permission for off lead exercise has been provided and it is considered safe to do so.
• Group walks are carefully matched based on temperament, size and suitability.
• Walkies with Zara reserves the right to move a dog from group walks to solo walks if group walks are no longer suitable.
• Owners must provide clear instructions regarding feeding, medication, routines and household rules.
• Any items that pets should not have access to, including specific toys, treats or household items, must be clearly identified prior to the booking.
• Walkies with Zara will take all reasonable precautions to keep pets safe but cannot accept responsibility for incidents arising from undisclosed medical conditions, behavioural issues or known risks.
• Any keys provided will be kept securely and returned at the end of services if requested.
• Walkies with Zara will take reasonable care to secure the property after visits and walks.
• Photos and videos may be taken during walks or pet sits for updates and social media content.
• Please let me know if you would prefer your pet not to appear on social media.
• Payment can be made via bank transfer, Monzo payment link or other agreed methods.
• Late payments may result in future bookings being paused until the balance is settled.
